We use the MassCentral starting point to explore Central Massachusetts and the Mass Central Rail Trail. From here we can visit the Old Stone Church, Wachusett Reservoir, the Quinapoxet River, Alta Vista Bison Farm, and the hilltop village of Rutland.

The easiest route from the Groton / Littleton area is to get on Route 2 West to I-190 South toward Worcester. Get off at Exit 5 and take a left at the end of ramp onto Route 140 South. Continue 1.2 miles to the intersection where Route 140 turns left. Continue straight onto Thomas Street for about 500 feet and you will see a dirt parking lot on your right and the CMRT entrance.
