This ride features the Cranberry Bog Reservation in Chelmsford and Carlisle. The cranberries are harvested in the middle of October by flooding the bog. If we are lucky, we may see the harvest. We will also visit historic Carlisle Center and explore some of the lesser used trails in Great Brook Farm State Park on the way back.

The ride starts at Heart Pond Beach in South Chelmsford.

We will meet at Heart Pond Beach in South Chelmsford. The parking area is just off Route 27 on Pond Street. If you are going south on Route 27, Pond Street is on the right just past Landry’s Automotive.
